Thanks Artur. I can see some nice speedup under Amithlon.

The most interesting results are from wawa. It seems that PPC 150MHz can emulate m68k with the speed of 68060@50MHz (even a little faster) and this is really not a bad result .

this cant say with that benchmark, because the benchmark do on most case memtransfers.and the mem transfer speed to GFX Card is on classic a real bottleneck for which the CPU must wait.

maybe wawa can test to convert a video with 68k ffmpeg on OS4.ffmpeg is compile for V48 and use lseek workarounds for V48 bug.But its not sure, if it work with the limitet OS4 ixemul.

normaly a good JIT(on X86 it is the case) is only max 2* slower than native.
so with a 800 MHZ PPC there should be at least 400 MHZ 68k speed possible, and for a program to run at usefull is this speed enough.

@bernd: wawa will test that as soon as hes back home. i think ppc is not much behind a real 68k while emulating. the annoying thing is the lag while jit kicks in. but still i couldnt measure cpu load while performing the fire demo so nothing is really certain

I could only find 0.3c on aminet. Seems to be a 020FPU_060FPU version too.

Running on WinUAE 1.6, AmigaOS 3.9, 32bit BGRA screen mode (1280x800) I get 694 fps.

When -width and -height are set to 640x480, I get 114 fps.
When -width and -height are set to 800x600, I get 70 fps.
When -width and -height are set to 1280x720, I get 37 fps.

Using 8bit screen mode (colors look like chrome)
Standard run gives 894fps
When -width and -height are set to 1280x800 I get 54fps

I have an ASUS Pro50GL laptop. Pentium Dual Core 2.0GHz T3200, onboard nVidia 8200M 256MB dedicated RAM, WinXP Pro SP3.
